MUNICIPAL TREASURER'S OFFICE

To be a key player in developing the municipality into a self-reliant local government unit by finding ways and means to increase its local sources of revenue with the end of being less dependent on external-intergovernmental fiscal transfers and grants for its operations and sustainability.
- The treasurer shall take charge of the treasury office, perform the duties provided for under Book II of this Code.
- Take custody and exercise proper management of the funds of the LGU concerned.
