Ruel Brioso The Groundbreaking Ceremony of Salvador-Matea Ledesma Elementary School in Sitio Libtong, Barangay Lupi, Tinambac, Camarines Sur.

Sitio Libtong is part of Barangay Lupi, one of the most remote barangays in our town and for a long time, students here will have to walk almost a kilometer to get to school at Payatan Elementary School in the neighbouring town of Goa and Lupi Elementary School in the center of Barangay Lupi, so the construction of a school in the area will be of great help to the residents here.

In a message delivered by Mayor Ruel Brioso Tuy, he assured that in the coming year, the makeshift administrative building and one or two edifice will be constructed to serve the classrooms of the children with the help of the local government of Tinambac.

Mayor Tuy also thanked Mr. Ricky N. Ledesma and his family with great help and support in donating the lot that will also be the foundation of the school.

Salvador-Matea Ledesma Elementary School is one of the (3) new schools to be opened under the administration of Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Vice Mayor Belle Prades and full members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The Lamon Bayside Elementary School in Barangay Cagliliog and the new Prades-Mendoza National High School in Barangay Salvacion will also be opened, under Project CagLupSal of the Department of Education and the Tinambac Local government.

In the face of the pandemic and health crisis we are facing, in addition to health, one of the priority programs of our local government is child education. In times of crisis, the care of the people is constant, but the establishment of new schools cannot be funded so that they can continue to live and ensure a good education and the future of the children.

The establishment of schools and the promotion of the quality of education in the whole town is the best legacy to be given to the nation, so our local government will continue to cooperate, provide assistance and support in such projects of the Department of Education which benefits the people.

In the new Tinambac, education and the future of children are always a priority!
