Together with OIC Regional Director Nelson B. Bien, DrFT of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Regional Office V (BFAR – ROV), AT Fisheries Jogie Sagales and other personnel of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Regional Office V, led by Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy in distribution of cash subsidy worth P 5,000.00 for the 3rd wave/batch of registered, organized and disciplined fishermans in Tinambac.
We have 776 counts of registered and organized fishers from our coastal barangays in Tinambac who are a beneficiaries of 3rd wave/batch in the allocated P. 3,880,000.00 or P 5,000.00 every individual under the Cash and Food Subsidy Program for Marginal Fisherfolk of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Regioal Office V with the help of Local Government Unit of Tinambac under the administration of Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, Vice Mayor Belle Prades and members of Sangguniang Bayan.
In this pandemic, it is a huge help for our fishers to receive assistance to support their livelihood.
Mayor thanked the sector of fishers for their contributions to improved Tinambac, and so is for registering, using of correct plate, fishing on the right place, protecting, maintaining natural resources and the cleaning the ocean.
