SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF TINAMBAC AND THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND LAUNCHING OF Tech4Ed CENTER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TINAMBAC.
The Department of Communications and Information Technology (DICT) in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Tinambac under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Ruel Brioso Tuy, Vice Mayor Belle Prades and the Sangguniang Bayan formally launched the Tech4Ed Center at the Municipal Public Employment and Information Office (MPEIO) yesterday. The launching activity was participated by DICT-Camarines Sur OIC Provincial Officer Maria Peñafrancia L. Nepumuceno, DICT-Camarines Sur Project Development Officer 1 Ralph Spencer Y. Talagtag, Department Heads and Sangguniang Bayan Members.
This collaboration between the Local Government Unit of Tinambac and the Department of Communications and Information Technology aims to provide an ICT hub that provides access to learning, employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to the under deserved and marginalized communities of the country’s rural and urban areas.
General Public can now avail of free ICT-enabled services starting today. Just visit the Municipal Public Employment and Information Office to avail the free services of the Tech4Ed Center, located at the 3rd floor of the Municipal Government Building of Tinambac. Look for MPEIO Officer John Patrick P. Borja, Sir Magno San Andres or Ryan Monedera.
